The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is a director-level position responsible for aligning United Health Services' Business Unit Leaders and their teams’ objectives in the execution and development of HR programs and initiatives for designated business units. This position will report to the System Director, Business Partners.

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner must understand their client group's strategic priorities, the business imperatives, and customer’s business. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner assesses and anticipates HR–related needs. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will proactively consult with clients and recommend HR strategic solutions to improve critical business outcomes. Communicating needs proactively with United Health Services' HR department and business management, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner seeks to develop integrated solutions. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner serves as consultant and adviser to business unit leaders in the effective management of their workforce through implementing performance management; organizational design; analysis and implementation; change management; talent assessments; leadership development; and succession planning programs. The successful Senior Human Resources Business Partner acts as an employee champion and change agent. Ensure the facilitation and resolution of employee relations matters with respect to issues of potential litigation,compensation, employment, employee relations, training, etc. Serve as trusted advisor, sounding board and business partner to client group functioning as the expert on people and organizational issues and providing guidance on managing complex organizational and people issues. Develop and drive future workforce planning based upon capabilities, size & shape of the organization; highlight where future capability gaps may lie, facilitate solutions and develop work force strategy and training plans as needed. Work with line managers to successfully navigate engagement and climate within the assigned client group. Execute performance management and processes which will drive performance and foster an environment which retains the highest quality talent, and promotes and sustains a high level of employee engagement. Develop and implement strategic HR solutions to attract, develop and retain employees. Ensure client groups are in compliance with employee-related federal, state and local regulations and ensure timely and accurate reporting to all outside agencies (in partnership with internal counsel), as required. Manage relationships with assigned stakeholders, to ensure the reputation of organization remains high and to support an ongoing agenda of process optimization. Facilitate change management process across client groups to support business strategy.

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required. MBA/Master’s degree preferred; SHRM SPHR certification a plus. Insight of the healthcare industry and/or related industries, and the ability to apply this knowledge in strategic thinking and decision-making required.
