You’ll enjoy fewer weekend/holiday requirements than in a traditional facility setting. We’ll find the schedule that works best for you and your patients! Practice outside of a traditional clinical setting and within the community, enjoying the outdoors while traveling from home to home.
Our Home Care providers benefit from uninterrupted one-on-one time to care for patients. They meet patients where they live and have the opportunity to form a personal, lasting bond. This work helps patients and their families by providing expert care while keeping patients safe in their homes.
Autonomy of Practice
UHS Home Care RNs work with patients independently, which allows for a greater autonomy of practice than in other clinical settings. You decide the best care for your patients, which is backed up by our supportive leadership and clinical team.
No matter what your role is, your teammates will be there to support you through all of the rewarding times, as well as when times get tough. Our team is like family, and you’ll always have a support system when you come to work. We build on each other’s strengths to form a well-rounded, patient-focused team.
Employee recognition is incredibly important to our team. We recognize employees with our Good News Friday newsletter, nominations for the LOVED and Daisy awards, Home Care Month celebrations, shoutouts during team huddles, thank you cards, and celebrations!
The work you do in UHS Home Care positively impacts your community. You’re giving your patients and their families peace of mind, knowing they are well taken care of in the safety of their homes. Our team is a strong patient advocate in our community with both providers and community agencies.
