  • Position Overview
    • Focus on performance improvement teams that constantly strive to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share via the use of Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies. Act as "Change Agent" to systematically implement process changes through the use of Lean / Six Sigma technique In collaboration with United Health Services System Leadership, Nursing, assists in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans and quality initiatives in accordance with standards set forth by regulatory agencies including but not limited to: The Joint Commission, New York State Department of Health, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least two years of experience as a RN
      • Preferred:
        • Master’s degree in Nursing, Systems Science and Industrial Engineering, Management, with a strong analytical background, with excellent computer skills, interpersonal skills, knowledge of statistics, verbal and written communication skills.
        • Mastery of data analytics and statistical methods with a broad understanding of the different Systems within United Health Services. Proficient using Excel and Minitab.
        • Two (2) to three (3) years of healthcare experience in relevant setting

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • New York State Registered Nurse license
      • Preferred:
        • Certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
