  • Position Overview
    • The Nurse Educator/ PI Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the Nurse Managers and Directors of Nursing across sites to plan and implement specific orientation, inservice education, and staff development. Ensures competency of all staff within clinical area. Provides support in review and development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing
        • 6 years relevant clinical nursing experience
      • Preferred:
        • Clinical Specialist with Master’s Degree in Nursing
        • Previous education or management experience

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Current New York State Registered Nurse License
        • CPR within 3 months of hire
          • OCN within 2 years of hire
        • Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
      • Preferred:
        • CPR Basic Life Support Instructor certification
        • Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Fetal Monitoring, Chemotherapy)
