This is a per diem position at United Health Services Binghamton General Hospital.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensures that individuals with mental health and mental illness receive the care and treatment they require in consultation with Mental Health Technicians, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Rehabilitation Staff, and Physicians.
  • Serves patients in a manner consistent with provider and nursing orders.
  • Engages with patients, families, patients' partners, and other interdisciplinary staff across mental health services.

Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a nursing assistant program or holds a CNA credential
  • Previous work experience in a healthcare environment
  • College coursework leading to a degree in a mental health-related fields or nursing
