  • Position Overview
    • Contributes to the overall success of the Human Resources division ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives with relation to Total Rewards, and specifically benefits, are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The Benefits Manager is responsible for administering all benefit plans, as well as partnering with Total Rewards, Business Partners, Shared Services, and external benefit vendors on review and design of current and future programs.
    • This position will be part of the HR team responsible for five critical centers of expertise within Total Rewards – retirement income replacement, healthcare, employee leave, wellness, and work/life benefits and will report to the Director of Total Rewards. This position will work closely with data warehouse and other service providers, internal partners and consultants to ensure that benefit offerings and service providers meet business objectives.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting.
        • Minimum 5-7 years of Benefits or other relevant HR experience. Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations and ability to apply them to administration/compliance of plans, including FMLA, NYPFL, ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Social Security and DOL requirements.
        • Strong understanding of benefit programs (healthcare, wellness, work/life) as well as the ability to design and implement innovations within a collaborative environment
      • Preferred:
        • MBA or Master’s in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting. Experience in financial services.
        • Experience with database reporting tools

        • PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP or CCP
