  • Position Overview
    • Under direction, assists the Gastroenterologist in the procedure rooms and anticipates their needs. Participates in patient care and safety, reprocesses endoscopes, utilizes GI supplies conservatively, and operates as a team member of the GI Staff.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing
      • Preferred:
        • GI Technical Specialist (GTS), online course completion, through the Society of Gastrointestinal Assistants (SGNA)

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit
        • CPR Certification within 3 months of hire
      • Preferred:
        • Not Applicable
