  • Position Overview
    • Within a high-intensity emergency department setting or while providing services of the Mobile Team and or Medical Behavioral Health Evaluations, provides bio-psychosocial mental health assessments and crisis intervention services to patients of all ages including their families/support system. Under the clinical supervision of the RN Team Leader, provides for medical needs. Recommends treatment plan to physician, demonstrating knowledge of mental hygiene laws, DSM V diagnosis, common psychiatric medications and community resources.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field or Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Human Services or related field with 2 years experience in Mental Health related field or inpatient hospital setting and completion of Abnormal Psych class within 2 years of hire.
      • Preferred:
        • Previous experience in a clinical setting requiring knowledge of DSM V and CPI crisis intervention training.
