  • Position Overview
    • Under supervision of the section supervisor, performs routine and specialized tests in clinical or pathology laboratory section in a timely manner according to UHS, Infection Control, Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures, NYSDOH, HFAP, CDC Blood and Body Fluids policies and procedures. Priority is given to STAT testing and to tests that require immediate processing.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Associates Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or;
        • equivalent (NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician) or;
        • Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician with a Limited permit to practice in NYS
      • Preferred:
        • One (1) year of clinical laboratory experience

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician or;
        • Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician with a Limited permit to practice in NYS
