  • Position Overview
    • Generate accurate and timely registry data as part of the Registry Services unit of Health Information Management. Customers served include HIM department, Cancer Program Manager, Cancer Registrars, Physicians, Physician offices, Administration and accrediting agencies. Provide complete registry data and information for Tumor, Trauma, Congenital Anomaly, Stroke, Occupational Lung and Bariatric and Orthopedic Registries.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Associates Degree in allied health field
      • Preferred:
        • Five years experience in Cancer Registry.
        • Two years experience in a related disease-based registry.
        • One year experience working in a medical related office or equivalent.

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Associate’s Degree with RHIT or Bachelor’s Degree with RHIA
      • Preferred:
        • CTR
