  • Position Overview
    • To lead a team of ROI assistants that will deliver a positive customer experience by providing prompt service and deliver a quality product. Assure records requested are processed timely to minimize delays that impact patient care or patient needs. To collaborate with the Director of HIM Operations to develop an educated team of ROI Assistants that truly understand what the customers want and need when they are requesting their health information; to be able to encourage the use of technology through the use of the patient portal for electronic delivery.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • High School Diploma or equivalent.
        • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
        • Experience using Microsoft Office products
      • Preferred:
        • Associate’s Degree.
        • Previous supervisory experience.
        • Previous Release of Information Experience
        • Knowledge of New York State Rules and Regulations pertaining to HIPAA and Release of Information
