  • Position Overview
    • Under general direction to decontaminate, assemble, package and sterilize procedural instrumentation and patient medical devices. Maintain, document and distribute clean and sterile products per established infection control standards. Provide for and account for med/surgical supplies to clinical areas. Our customers are identified as physicians, clinical units, ancillary areas, clinics and UHS affiliates.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Preferred:
        • Previous SPD or Operating Room experience
        • Inventory experience

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Certification as a Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician is required within 18 months of hire.
        • Valid NYS Driver's License
      • Preferred:
        • Not Applicable
