  • Position Overview
    • The Float Staff Nurse is a skilled, registered nurse available to support staffing needs during times when the hospital experiences high volumes, increased acuity, sick calls or vacant positions. This nurse would work in multiple care areas and maintain competency in a designated specialty Telemetry or Critical Care. The Float Clinical Resource Staff Nurse will receive assignments daily from the United Health Services Hospitals Staffing Office.

    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Graduate of Accredited school of nursing
      • Preferred:
        • Bachelor of Science in Nursing

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Current New York State Registered Nurse
        • CPR within 3 months of hire
        • ACLS within 3 months of hire
      • Preferred:
        • Professional Certification
