Registered Nurse (RN) Vestal Pediatrics, Vestal, NY area

United Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Vestal Pediatric Office within United Health Services. The Vestal Pediatric office is located on 4417 Vestal Parkway East, NY, 13850. The office is open 7:30 AM- 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. This is a Benefits Eligible/ Full Time position.

Hours per week: 40
Salary range: $30.54 - $45.82/hour, depending on experience

Registered Nurse/ RN Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, and the alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response and through advocacy in the care of individuals and families. The RN is responsible and accountable for compliance to all standards of practice and professional development in accordance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services Hospitals and Nursing Division policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the Bill of Patient Rights. The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.

Position Qualifications

Minimum:

• Graduated of an accredited school of registered nursing

At least 1 year experience in health care setting with evidence of having obtained proficiency in those areas emphasized in the Registered Nurse curriculum

• Current NY State RN license
• Documentation of current CPR certification required within 1 week of start of employment.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a primary care/ specialty care setting.
• Any office specific certifications ie: chemotherapy, gastro, etc
