Registered Nurse Quality Manager, Home Care

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse Quality Manager to join our team at UHS Home Care in Johnson City, NY. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position.

RN Quality Manager Position Overview

The RN Quality Manager leads UHS Home Care staff and management in the development and implementation of home care best practices. The successful candidate will work with United Health Services’ Twin Tier Home Health organization to analyze clinical data and assist clinical staff in achieving improved patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Clinical Management Team to develop and implement home care best practices
  • Develop disease management programs to improve patient outcomes
  • Evaluate and analyze data including OBQI and adverse event reports, public measures, infection control, patient incidents, medication errors, and patient complaints to assist staff in achieving improved patient outcomes
  • Act as a primary liaison with the Department of Health and monitor compliance with agency and regulatory requirements
  • Supervise and evaluate the Medical Review staff
  • Use a customer-focused approach when collaborating with co-workers, patients, physicians, and community members

Position Qualifications

Minimum required:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years of full-time RN experience in community health, teaching, or acute care


  • Master’s degree
