UHS Medical Group is a progressive multi-specialty group with a large primary care base, consisting of over 400 healthcare providers in 30+ medical and surgical specialties in multiple locations. We are recruiting for growth and succession planning and have an excellent opportunity for an Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Trauma, must be either board certified or board eligible. This practice has a regional referral based with a large primary care base to support our specialist. UHS Orthopedics is focused on recruiting specialized surgeons. Currently comprised of a total joint surgeon (who perform approx. 600 joints per year), hand surgeon, two sports medicine surgeons, a fellowship trained trauma surgeon and two non-operative sports medicine physicians. UHS Orthopedics is very supportive of the use of Advanced Practice Providers to maximize patient care.

This outstanding clinical and administrative support staff as well as excellent Physical Therapy support is provided in three different locations in our region.

There are opportunities for teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research. Competitive starting salary, excellent benefits and malpractice insurance provided.
