A not-for-profit organization, located in the Southern Tier of Upstate New York with Primary and Specialty Care offices in many locations throughout Broome, Chenango, Delaware and Tioga counties.

We are recruiting for growth and succession planning and have an excellent opportunity for an Orthopedic Surgeon. This practice has a regional referral based with a large primary care base to support our specialist. UHS Orthopedics is focused on recruiting specialized surgeons. Currently comprised of a total joint surgeon (who perform approximately 600 joints per year), a hand surgeon and two sports medicine surgeons, fellowship trained trauma surgeon and two non-op sports medicine physicians. UHS Orthopedics is very supportive of the use of Advanced Practice Providers to maximize patient care.

This outstanding clinical and administrative support staff as well as excellent Physical Therapy support is provided in three different locations in our region.

There are opportunities for teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research. Competitive starting salary, excellent benefits and malpractice insurance provided.
