Position located through United Health Services Hospitals at the United Health Services Diabetes and Endocrinology Center.

This position is full-time (Monday-Friday), exempt. Seeking experienced and qualified, motivated Nurse Practitioners. Preferred experience in Diabetes. New grads with at least 5 years of nursing experience will be considered. FNP must possess a current New York State license as an RN, as a Nurse Practitioner, and have their National Certification.

The Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner will provide health care services to patients. They will also complete appropriate documentation, administer and order diagnostic tests, interpret the test results, and will prescribe and monitor therapies. They will develop and implement patient management plans, electronic medical records progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care which includes instruction and educating patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance. The Nurse Practitioner will see patients in person as well as via telehealth. This position does require some travel between established United Health Services Physician Practices. The Nurse Practitioner will also be part of an on-call group with support from Diabetes Educators and Endocrinologists.
