Position located at United Health Services Medical Center- Greene

Full-time, exempt and seeking both experienced and new graduate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - New Grads will take part in our APP Residency Program 2 days a week for a 12-week program.

Position will work one late evening (7:00 p.m) a week. Shared call and weekend coverage. This is a f
ocused and collaborative environment.

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide general medical care and treatment to patients in our medical facility, under direction of physician. Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs. Record physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition. Discuss cases with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan. May refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.

FNP/PA must possess current licensure in New York State. Must pass board certification program as well.

About Our Region
