United Health Services is seeking a full time Nurse Manager to operate its telemetry at Binghamton General Hospital. The successful candidate will join United Health Services’ Nursing Division whose staff are often recognized for their dedication to delivering exceptional, compassionate care.

In this position you will lead a 27-bed medical surgical telemetry unit that provides care for patients on cardiac, respiratory, and other monitoring systems.

Nurse Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations associated with United Health Services’ telemetry medical surgical unit which includes compliance with program regulations and ensuring equipment verification and validation
  • Coordinate the unit’s work activities with internal stakeholders including our nursing teams, provider teams, and clinics
  • Ensure all phases of patient care are based on clinical practice guidelines
  • Recommend solutions and make decisions that take into account the interests of our community and the potential for cost savings

Position Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Three years of clinical experience with progressive responsibility
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse License or eligibility


  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Master’s degree in nursing
