  • Position Overview
    • The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the ordering, preparation and administration of radiopharmaceutical materials to patients. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates gamma equipment or thyroid uptake and probe for the visualization for both the structure and function of major organ systems within the body. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist utilizes knowledge of radiation physics and safety in the preparation, measurement and administration of isotopes.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Nuclear Medicine Registry or certification in Nuclear Medicine or eligible to take either.
      • Preferred:
        • Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine.

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • NYS Registry in Nuclear Medicine or eligible or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or eligible

        • Not Applicable
