  • Position Overview
    • Answers all incoming calls, greets patients, obtains new patient information, schedules/reschedules appointments and performs follow-up on no shows and cancellations. In addition, this secretary communicates with patients, office and clinical staff, and assists the Unit Coordinator with other clerical support duties such as filing, data entry, making copies, and insurance verifications, as needed.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Preferred:
        • Further course work in Office Practices
        • Two years’ experience functioning as a Receptionist or Office Assistant in which there were multiple incoming lines to answer, preferably in an orthopedic or medical setting.
