  • Position Overview
    • Under direction of the WMH Office Laboratory Support Services Team Leader, performs daily activities of the Support Services Department based at Wilson Medical Center. Functions as a Medical Office Assistant, Specimen Processing Technician, or Phlebotomist (limited, <10%) on a rotational basis. Performs tasks such as Registration, Test Order Entry, Specimen Central Processing, and Specimen Triage. Ability to perform data entry in multiple Information Systems. Responds and interacts with patients and customers in a courteous and professional manner, embracing the concepts and ideals of Service Excellence.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • High School Diploma or equivalent
        • 3 months phlebotomy as a primary role
      • Preferred:
        • Completed Phlebotomy Training Program OR other MOA training
        • 1 year inpatient phlebotomy in an acute care setting

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Not applicable
      • Preferred:
        • MOA or Phlebotomy certification
