  • Position Overview
    • Under administrative and medical direction, the Medical Office Assistant will handle correspondence, manage routine and detail work of the department and assist with patient care needs. Performs data tracking and reporting of employee and volunteer compliance to NYS DOH health requirements, and invoices/tracks bills for services rendered. Performs Secretarial duties to meet business needs.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • High School diploma or equivalent
        • Graduate of an accredited secondary medical assisting program or 2 years of clinical experience in a medical office and/or hospital setting
      • Preferred:
        • Previous experience in a walk in / primary care / specialty care setting

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • CPR certified or obtained within 3 months of hire and must maintain certification during employment
