  • Position Overview
    • The Mastectomy Fitter specializes in the fitting of external breast prosthesis, and mastectomy bras, and other mastectomy garments while consulting and in collaboration with the care team. The fitter formulates a treatment plan, in compliance with federal and state laws. The fitter is required to document all encounters in the EMR.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Preferred:
        • Associates Degree in healthcare related field

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Mastectomy Fitter Certification from Board of Certification (BOC) or American Board for Certification (ABC)
      • Preferred:
        • Not Applicable
