  • Position Overview
    • Under general supervision to provide for the continuity of prompt, efficient, safe and reliable patient, passenger, equipment and supply services by dispatching Internal Transportation Aides and External Transportation drivers in compliance with departmental/United Health Services Hospital's policies, Service Delivery Standards and department Quality Improvement guidelines.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • High School Diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience involving the transport of patients, equipment, supplies and other materials. Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions.
      • Preferred:
        • Experience handling multiple phone lines. Previous hospital experience as aide/orderly, transportation aide, dispatcher operator or related position.

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Not Applicable
      • Preferred:
        • Unrestricted Driver’s License.
