  • Position Overview
    • The Team Lead is responsible for the supervision of the application staff, including coordinating cross-functional teams and other resources required to implement and support IT projects.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related healthcare field, required. In the absence of a Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree and 6 years of clinical, healthcare operations, information technology or health information technology experience. Minimum of two (2) years related healthcare IT experience including one (1) year of healthcare IT project management experience, required. Build/analyst project teams management experience required. Knowledge of clinical operational workflow and business needs across inpatient and ambulatory settings. Experienced in all stages of project implementation, including design, development, workflow analysis, build, implementation, optimization, go-live, and post go-live support. Experienced mentoring and leading implementation teams with an eye to integration to ensure workflow accuracy.
      • Preferred:
        • Epic experience

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Current Epic certification(s) or must be willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completion of training at Epic in application as assigned.
      • Preferred:
        • Certification in one or more Epic applications. Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification or equivalent certification.
