United Health Services Hospitals is a family of health service organizations that exists to improve the health of the communities we serve by developing and maintaining a comprehensive and cost-effective health care system. We are recruiting an additional General Surgeon for growth and succession planning for our high-volume surgical practice. The successful candidate will possess excellent surgical skills with experience and/or interest in trauma surgery, as well as having minimally invasive surgical experience. The ideal candidate is looking for a practice that will provide a vigorous and diverse case load, challenging and while keeping general surgical skills sharp. United Health Services Hospital has the DaVinci Robot Xi on site. Residents from United Health Services Family Practice and Podiatry programs rotate with the surgeons.

Formed in 1981 through the consolidation of three community hospitals, United Health Services Hospitals employs more than 6,000 people. As a teaching hospital, affiliated with the SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY and the Binghamton University Health Sciences Center, United Health Services Hospitals trains over 75 physicians per year in residency and fellowship programs.
