Financial Analyst I, II, Norwich

United Health Services is seeking a Financial Analyst to join Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY. This is a benefits eligible position.

Financial Overview

The Financial Analyst enhances the financial performance of the organization and to ensure timely, accurate and thorough financial reporting. This will be accomplished by supporting the Chenango Memorial Hospital finance team and management team with thorough and meaningful financial analysis for all aspects of hospital operations.

Financial Key Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Extensively creates meaningful financial / data analysis of all aspects of hospital operations
  • Assists with month end closing processes (duties as assigned)
  • Coordinates all aspects of the annual budget process
  • Coordinates and supports all aspects of the annual financial audit
  • Meaningfully contributes on special projects (i.e. grants) as assigned
  • Completes ad hoc financial analyses, annual surveys and reports as required.
  • Demonstrate commitment to organizational Values of Compassion, Trust, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation

Position Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Associate degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare finance
