A not-for-profit organization, located in the Southern Tier of Upstate New York with Primary and Specialty Care offices in many locations throughout Broome, Chenango, Delaware and Tioga counties. There is a strong market presence in the region and an excellent referral base. This position is located at Chenango Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Norwich, NY.

This position is traditional inpatient/outpatient. It involves covering the nursery and attending C-Sections and deliveries when on call. Call is 1:4. Hospital and Nursery rounds are done every morning.

Norwich, NY is located about an hour from the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate NY and is equidistant between the Catskill and Adirondack Mountains. There is an abundance of cultural and recreational activities as well as an excellent school system which makes it a great place to live and raise a family.

Formed in 1981 through the consolidation of three community hospitals, United Health Services Hospitals employs more than 6,000 people. As a teaching hospital, affiliated with the SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY and the Binghamton University Health Sciences Center, United Health Services Hospitals trains over 75 physicians per year in residency and fellowship programs.

About Our Region

Norwich is the Chenango County seat and home to about 7,000 residents.
