United Health Services Hospitals is a teaching hospital consisting of Wilson Medical Center which is a Level II Trauma Center and designated Stroke Center, and Binghamton General Hospital which is a full-service hospital housing a designated Crisis Center. Annual combined ED patient visits are approximately 60,000 with single, double and triple coverage. A not-for-profit organization, located in the Southern Tier of Upstate New York with Primary and Specialty Care offices in many locations throughout Broome, Chenango, Delaware and Tioga counties.
There are opportunities for teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research.
