  • Position Overview
    • This position is responsible for performing a variety of security and safety-related functions while providing assistance to security officers, hospital staff, and those involved in safeguarding of employees. The Security Dispatch Center Operator is responsible for ensuring all guards are patrolling, per policy, and will communicate with managers about staffing or equipment needs. This position is also responsible for monitoring surveillance equipment and building automation systems, identify safety hazards / problems, and dispatch staff to the location of incident or hazard.

    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • High School diploma or equivalent
        • One year experience in a customer-related function
      • Preferred:

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation
        • Must meet requirements of New York State Security Guard Licensing program
