  • Position Overview
    • Under guidance of Vice President Informatics, the Director of Business Intelligence leads teams responsible for managing data warehouse, data analytics and delivering variety of high quality data solutions with a focus on automating the flow of data throughout the organization. The Director is responsible for establishing standards for all aspects of data acquisition, data hosting, and data showcasing. The Director is responsible for strengthening ongoing collaboration and coordination with senior management, staff of UHS entities, external compliance entities, academia, and other customers to accomplish goals and objectives. The role includes oversight of project work of a sophisticated and complex nature, with responsibility for planning, analysis, and execution for data infrastructure and analytics tasks.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Bachelor’s degree in computer science with seven years of technical and management experience and
        • Significant data warehouse management and software engineering experience, knowledge of healthcare information systems OR
        • Master’s degree in computer science and five years of data warehouse management and software engineering experience. Knowledge of healthcare information systems, six sigma green belt.
        • Six Sigma Green Belt
      • Preferred:
        • Master’s degree in computer science with significant experience in data warehouse management, Artificial Intelligence based solutions. Certified six sigma black belt
        • Six Sigma Black Belt
