Working at United Health Services is different. We support our employees in ways other companies can't. We offer great health insurance, retirement plans, education assistance and paid time off programs for part-time and full-time employees. We even offer employees free emergency drop-in childcare for children ages 4-12. As the region's largest employer, we are dedicated to our employees and our community.

Ideal Senior Living Center is a nationally recognized assisted living facility with awards for excellence in customer service, practice and quality. We have exciting career opportunities for both part-time and full-time RNs to join our long-term care teams in Endicott, New York.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the care teams within the Senior Living environment. Working alongside a Medical Director within an interdisciplinary care team, you can help us promote a caring and healing environment for senior residents. We offer our RNs more opportunities to develop and refine their skills within a dynamic work environment where established teams work collaboratively to support one another and deliver exceptional care. Today’s nursing home patient profile matches the hospital patient of yesterday – so highly skilled RN’s are needed to help our resident maintain the highest level of health and functioning possible. This high-acuity environment allows for nursing skills such as infusion therapy and advanced wound care to be used on a daily basis. Education to maintain and enhance excellent clinical skills are a focus for our nursing team.

Here we emphasize personal and professional growth for our RNs with the help of an Education Incentive Program, which provides tuition assistance so that RNs can pursue their advanced degrees. We’re proud to offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for our RN staff.

Successful RN candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Current New York State Registered Nurse License and CPR certification.
  • Clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred, but we are willing to train recent graduates without experience.
  • A team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Shared value in providing exceptional care for seniors and their families.
