  • Position Overview
    • This position is responsible for extensive collaboration/coordination between coding and clinical documentation specialist teams to improve the quality and completeness of clinical documentation of care provided at United Health Services. Provide education to coding, clinical documentation staff and providers to improve documentation and query assignment, develop education based on, industry performance, regulatory focus areas and observed opportunities within United Health Services Hospitals.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • CCS, RHIT, CPC, CCA CCDS or CDIP certification with an Associate's Degree's.
        • Five years' coding experience.
      • Preferred:
        • Five years' experience in auditing/coding with preferred knowledge in CDI regulatory compliance.
        • Bachelor’s Degree.

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • CCS or RHIT, or CPC, CCS-P, or CCA or CCDS or CDIP
      • Preferred:
        • RHIA
