  • Position Overview
    • Provides clinical support to Graduate Nurses/Registered Nurses during their orientation and transition to Accountable RN at UHS. Provides educational experiences and mentoring that facilitate the promotion of competent nursing practice and quality patient care. Facilitates and supports the transition from Graduate Nurse to Licensed Professional Nurse.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
        • At least five (5) years progressive and relevant clinical and/or Nursing education experience.
      • Preferred:
        • Teaching experience in a Baccalaureate or Graduate Nursing Program.
        • Knowledge of systems, leadership group process and motivation theories.
        • Member of professional organization.
        • Clinical Coach experience.
        • Clinical Ladder RN

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • NYS RN licensure or eligible
      • Preferred:
        • Not Applicable
