  • Position Overview
    • To ensure that Cardiology services rendered (the evaluation and treatment of patients) are completed in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner. Those serviced include inpatients and outpatients, UHS staff and employees, as well as affiliated UHSH community groups as needed. Priority is given to services which directly affect patients and supervised staff.
  • Position Requirements
    • Education/Experience
      • Minimum Required:
        • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Preferred:
        • Graduation from an accredited school for Cardiac Ultrasonography

    • License/Certification
      • Minimum Required:
        • Certification from ARDMS or CCI
      • Preferred:
        • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
        • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
