  • Position Overview
    • The Department’s Administrative Assistant provides support, direction, guidance and coordination to all direct reports of the Manager. The role involves a variety of complex secretarial/clerical, and administrative duties requiring comprehensive knowledge of the department. The Administrative Assistant exercises independent judgment and action, including making frequent decisions in accordance with delegated responsibilities from assigned lead. Primary emphasis is placed upon relieving the Manager, and direct reports of incoming calls, and preparing considerable correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining adequate inventory, compiling and summarizing data into concise form and by preparation of reports.

      • Minimum Required:
        • Associates degree, with two (2) years of secretarial experience, OR a High school or equivalent with four (4) years secretarial experience.
