Access Care Representative Emergency Department, Binghamton
United Health Services is seeking an Access Care Representative to join our Emergency Department Teams at Binghamton General/Wilson Memorial Hospitals in Binghamton/Johnson City, NY. The Access Care Representative performs a wide variety of activities related to scheduling, registration, financial compliance and customer support for all services performed at UHSH. This is a PER DIEM position.

Salary range: $17.20 - $23.28/hour, depending on experience

Access Care Representative Emergency Department Overview
The Access Care area is a very intricate part of the registration process in both Emergency’ Department’s at UHS. An Access Care Representative performs many job duties including but not limited to; arriving/registering patients into the EPIC system, obtaining all signatures as required by state and federal guidelines, conducts interviews with patients to verify all demographics as well as verify insurance information and eligibility. This role acts as the entry point to UHS
UHS Wilson Medical Center is a 280-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center. In this position, you’ll serve a medical facility that is a regional leader in cardiac surgery, neurosurgery and neurosciences, cancer care, maternity and high-risk obstetrics, neonatal intensive care, blood disorder treatment, and physical therapy and rehabilitation. Wilson is a bustling hospital and is a 24-hour designated stroke and chest pain center.
